Have you grown up???

Gone are those days when you would like to have samosas(Probably because of the crush you had on that north Indian girl) and having money to buy only one.Now that you have money to buy that entire samosa stall but you don't feel like having even one.
When you were in your schooling or graduation you had a list of contacts to call but always your prepaid mobile showing poor balance(Think of those numbers you remembered by heart in your heart) .Being part of a corporate world, you enjoy a higher credit limit on your postpaid but either finding no time or don't know whom to call and chat with.

Remember the days when you filled petrol in your bike for 20 rupees and still roaming all the day without bothering anything.Compare those days with now as you got all petro cards in your wallet and a cruise bike  still not happy to go for a ride and often annoyed when you travel by bike.

Loved to go to petty tea shop those days even when nothing is impressive. But now having 200 signature dishes in menu and don't know what to order for ,finally ending with the same idli, dosa and it feels like having food is also a work to be done.

Away back traveled as a group of friends  in EMU train or MTC buses. Now travelling in a AC car all alone.

Eagerly was waiting for new movies (have watched damn mokka movies too, that tops the list) earlier and gave reviews to others.Currently even after getting so many  positive reviews not making up our mind to go out for a movie.

After reading this if you honestly admit this change in you tell yourself you have grown up!!!!!!!!!!!

My Experience with German in vellammal engg

I was teaching German for 1 year in vellammal engineering college and for six months i served as a guest faculty. It was interesting that i was the junior most person ever in the history of vellammal.I was just 21.It was a strange feeling that many students to whom i taught were actually older than me.

I found few of my school juniors also in 2005-2009 batch.Let me share with the interesting moments.

a.Students wanted to talk in German from day one.I was taken aback, they have learnt english from their 1st grade.Even after 12 years still they find it difficult to converse fluently but with German they want that to happen on day one.

b.while learning interpreting equivalents in english.
where are you going? to Chennai
Wohin fahren sie? nach Chennai. so to their understanding is nach means to which will turn wild in different conversations.

c.Students asked me curiously whats "I love India" in German.Hope you can understand for what its intended to.Probably to replace india with indira, induja so on..........

d.They tried with deutamil, deutlish, deutelugu.now please don't stare at your monitor.Deutamil is combination of Tamil and Deutsch and so on.

e.Reading  kőnnen as kannan, using kuchen as Küchen etc

Looking for your special one !!!!

Ever thought about that special moment of holding your special one's hand. How good will it be if she is a home maker to take care of you more than her child, the intimacy that you share from your childhood together, the understanding you share without expressing in words, the possessiveness you have for her beyond bounds and finally when she means the world for you.

If your wife is a home maker probably you will reside in a two bedroom flat(mean to say if you don't get fatty dowry to your conscience), you will own a sub compact car.On the personal front she will be by your side on your success and failures, you will be happy to see her lovely face daily after you wake up,your kids will be brought up with all love, care, affection the way your mother brought you up.you can hold her hands for a walk at night.(Bizarre that the IT and BPO professionals working at night ever thought of it).She will be a strong motivation and stress buster when you are morally down, frustrated. She will experiment you with all her cooking skills(indeed worth the try).More importantly atleast you will have conversations for 2 hours a day.

Now just close your eyes and think if she is a working professional for any IT,BPO,IT services.(Don't forget to capture a three bedroom flat and a luxurious sedan in your dream now)!!!!!!!

Soon after college!!!!! First job

Given are the 4 quadrants of professional life.Soon after your UG or masters you may feel that u know everything but you are not landing with a job on an area of your interest.Only if you have a deep insight into yourself you will find that you are in quadrant1 and only when you reach quadrant 4 you can actually be the master in anything.

Sachin after 22 years of international cricket still playing only in 22 yards pitch and in 150 yards play area.Just because he is a master he cannot ask for 44 yards pitch and 200 yards play area.

Never get frustrated or bored in your current assignment as legends like sachin are never complacent and bored after even 22 years of Intl cricket, though i feel bit bored to write this.

Charity and you

Charity

a.Charity is not giving 10,000rs to someone but giving 5rs to the needy means a lot more.
b.Dont show your intelligence by judging whether someone in need is worth to get your 5 or 10 rs as for you it means literally nothing but for them it means life.
c.If you happen to see the same beggar time and again dont yell at him though you dont want to help.Have in your bottom heart that  any human will feel hungry thrice a day and so it becomes part of his life.

d.Charity is not about giving anything to everyone its all about giving something to someone.when this chain transforms with time the world will cherish with love, kindness.

I love management jobs......U?

Difference between Technical and Management Prudence:

In any technical, production, technical support role your chances of going up or coming down the ladder is completely yours.

In management role your fate will hang in the balance of other persons decision. But why?

Just think

a.)Put yourself into the shoes of a marketing manager. After evaluating so many data, after choosing the right marketing medium, after finding the target audience you fail to get the expected response rate or conversions which implies that your marketing strategy has failed.

b.)You are in sales. you are really too smart in convincing and making people understand things. you have a flair of knowledge in the products you deal with but if customer is not buying your product for any reason which may be as stupid as he is talking and looking more smarter than me,my wife had a boyfriend by the name this guy has,he was starring at the receptionist for whom i had an eye on etc.

c.)Now that after all turbulent times u are the general manager of a company having 15 reporting managers.your role is to forecast the business to the company, being proactive in finding problems, forecasting the units to be sold in the next fiscal, ensuring the business is optimistic even in pessimistic financial weather, planning to the R&D to line up products for next 5 years. If your direct reportees and their reportees are not inline with your vision you will end up nowhere.

A technical person will plan for his future after 3 years,5years.But believe me if you don't bring any revenue to the company this month in sales,if your strategies failed to take off in marketing this quarter and if your vision shattered the position of the company this fiscal you are back home jobless!!!!!!!

If you are someone in any management jobs be proud and happy that you know to tackle any moment of uncertainity, you are capable of turning any situation upside down.
